This short has been said by many notable animators as one of the most memorable cartoons in animation. The Feed-o-matic sequence was the inspiration of the Little Audrey cartoon 'Butterscotch and Soda' and The Simpsons Halloween Segment 'The Devil and Homer Simpson' in Treehouse of Horror IV.
