Meanwhile, up in the sky, an evil witch is flying on her broom, searching for mice to feed her pet cat. Spying the mice, she has the cat (disguised as a ghost) crash their masquerade party. The cat chases and captures the mice. The mice call Mighty Mouse, who comes down from the moon and fights the cat. The witch concocts a brew to poison Mighty Mouse, and sprays him with it. Mighty Mouse lies down unconscious until the rain revives him. He goes after the witch and her cat, defeats them and rescues the mice, who resume their Halloween party in Mighty Mouse's honor.
